2021 Assessments will be held SATURDAY, MARCH 6 from 9:30AM – 4PM at Bradley Field (across the street from Smart & Final). Your player must be registered and assessed before they can be placed on a team. T-BALL PLAYERS DO NOT NEED TO BE ASSESSED. Our Juniors Division will assess at a later day and time.
Assessments will be held by age group according to Little League PLAY AGE (your child’s play age may not be the same as their actual age). Please follow the Little League Age Chart below to determine your child’s PLAY AGE.

Coronado Little League will follow San Diego County Youth Sports covid protocols. For assessments, we ask that only one parent attends with no siblings. Players must have a mask on until assessments begin. They may remove their mask once they arrive at there assigned field area for practice. Players’ temperatures will be taken before entering the field. Players should wear baseball attire or comfortable clothes, baseball cleats, and a hat. Players are required to bring their own glove, batting helmet, and bat. Due to covid restrictions, players cannot share equipment.

PLAYER HEALTH & PROTOCOLS
We will always keep the health and safety of our players at the forefront of our practices. To participate in practice each day, your player must arrive at a low risk for covid and with no symptoms of covid within the last 72 hours. You may not send your player to practice if their temperature is above 100° F or if they have covid symptoms based on CDC guidelines. Coaches will be screening them for covid symptoms by taking their temperature and asking them how their health is when they arrive to practice each day. We must be notified if your son or daughter has traveled outside of the United States in the last 4 weeks, including Mexico or Canada.

If your child has displayed covid symptoms, you agree to not allow them to return to practice until they have tested negative for covid and provide a medical professional’s clearance; or at least 10 days have passed since the onset of symptoms, and at least 3 days (72 hours) have passed since recovery (no fever without the use of fever-reducing medication). Thank you for your cooperation.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Please have your player registered by March 3 and bring your player’s medical form filled out, along with the Parent Code of Conduct to Assessment Day.
